Can you believe June is almost over?  Have you gotten started on your summer reading or getting books for the fall semester yet?  Fortunately, Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester is here to help!  Stop in, and we’ll match you up to all your literary needs – as well as your just-for-fun needs, too!

This Thirsday the 28th we welcome the wonderful local author and humorist, Joe Fusco, Jr.  Joe is a writer, poet, and comedian who has lived in Worcester for over 30 years with his family. Fusco’s essays and poems have been featured in papers such as Worcester Magazine, Worcester Review, Ballard St. Press, Sahara, Central Mass Magazine, Lancaster Times, and several others. His most recent book, titled The Lost Then Found Essays of Joe Fusco Jr., is a collection of humorous essays about Fusco’s adventures in life.

July is right on the horizon, so after you’ve enjoyed your fireworks, cookouts, and parties celebrating America’s Independence, check out even more fun at the bookstore.

Are you a writer and looking to get published? July 22nd has a reading and signing for Michael Colbert, a local teen who has published his first novel.  Then, join the Annie’s of Worcester family for another multi-author celebration of poetry at our Plethora of Poets on Friday, July 27th from 5-9PM.
