Annie's Book Stop of Worcester

The little bookstore that's bigger on the inside

Because really, with the heat, who wouldn’t want a nice snowball right now?

Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester is giving you even more reasons to stop in (besides lovely books and air conditioning)!

Have you ever dreamed of being a professional cartoonist or writing comics?

Bret Herholz, author and illustrator of multiple comics, and instructor from Worcester Art Museum, will be offering courses at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester!  He will be teaching two sessions, each with two possible topics and four individual, stand-alone classes in each topic.  From July 13th through August 3rd, students can choose classes from either (or both!) “Cartooning” or “Comic Art.”  From August 10th through August 31st, the choices will be “Create Your Own Super Hero” and “Drawn Animation.” Each individual class is $87.50. Mix and match two classes for $175, or if you purchase two on the same day, pay $165 and save $10. Sign up for all four classes in any one topic for $325, and save $25!

Stop into the store, email info@anniesbookstopworcester.com, or call 508-796-5613 to register or find out more!

Elaine is an award-winning author of three novels and over a dozen short stories.  It is $40 for the workshop, with a $10 discount for members of Broad Universe, Worcester Writers Collaborative, New England Horror Writers, and students with ID.  Sign up at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester in person, by phone (508-796-5613), or send an email to info@anniesbookstopworcester.com for information on how to sign up via PayPal.

Deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 18th!

Do you love meeting authors and poets?

A Plethora of Poets will be bringing Lori Desrosiers, Eve Rifkah, Joshua Michael Stewart, Susurrus Din, Dan Lewis, and Paul Richmond into the store to share their readings and books on July 27th.

Don’t forget Spinning Yarns, too!

And this is just July! Wait till you see what’s coming in August!

May your summer be full of beloved words!
