Worcester Storytellers comes to Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester with their first reading event featuring David Macpherson and an Open Mic. Readers of all genres, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, are welcome to share.

September 29, Saturday; 2-5

Horror and mystery author Paul G. Tremblay nominated for two Bram Stoker awards, will be reading and signing. Tremblay is the author of over 50 short stories as well as the novels The Little Sleep, No Sleep Till Wonderland, and the upcoming Swallowing A Donkey’s Eye – a “hysterical comic dystopia,” according to Jeffrey Ford, author of The Shadow Year.

October 6, Saturday; 2-5

Walter H. Hunt, author of military science fiction and alternate history, will be reading and signing. Hunt is the author of the Dark Wing series. His novel A Song in Stone delves into the mystery of Rosslyn Chapel, as well as the secret of the Templars. He also keeps a blog called Stone of Remembrance.

October 7, Sunday; 2-4

Sheri Sinykin, Jewish children’s author, will be reading and signing. She has written books based within the Jewish faith to help children through tough experiences. Her latest book, also her first children’s picture book, Zayde Comes to Live, follows a girl named Rachel whose Jewish grandfather comes to live with her family because he is dying.

And don’t forget our new time for Spinning Yarns!  Wednesdays from 7-9PM (unless there is an event scheduled), bring in your craft and listen to one of our audiobooks or audio dramas.
