All of us at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester were saddened to learn of the sudden death of local author Kenneth Amidon, whose debut novel STRAY THREADS hit our shelves earlier this year.

Ken’s obituary in the Telegram & Gazette paints a picture of a wonderful, warm, and witty man, as seen at http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/telegram/obituary.aspx?n=kenneth-a-amidon&pid=163095263&fhid=7029#fbLoggedOut. We knew him all too briefly here, but we have to concur with all the positive things said about him.

STRAY THREADS is a tale of romantic suspense dealing with the mystery of a high school girl’s suicide, the investigation of which reunites two hearts.

Ken was an active member of The Worcester Writers Collaborative [http://www.WorcesterWriters.org] and will be deeply missed by friends, family, and the literary community at large.

Same here Patty. We only knew Ken briefly but he will be missed at our monthly writers group as well. Deb @ Booklovers’ Gourmet

I was so sad when I heard the news. Ken added so much life and humor to our WWC write-ins, and we’re sure going to miss him.
