Annie's Book Stop of Worcester

The little bookstore that's bigger on the inside

As we get ready for this Saturday’s premiere for Series 8 of DOCTOR WHO, launching the run of Peter Capaldi as The Twelfth Doctor, we at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester have gotten some marvelous new DW items in stock to help you celebrate.

* First out of the box is what we consider ***THE*** indispensable accessory… The Twelfth Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver, with lights and sound.  This is the single button version, according to its packaging.  We can’t wait to know whether it will evolve as The Doctor himself does.

* Next up is The Union Jack Dalek… a twelve-inch-tall radio-controlled Dalek which speaks eight phrases.  It’s an extremely limited 50th anniversary edition of DOCTOR WHO’s most iconic monster.

* We’ve just received our supplies of “The Impossible Set”… an action figure two-pack featuring The Eleventh Doctor in Victorian garb from the Christmas special “The Snowmen” and Oswin Oswald in red from the Series 7 story “Asylum of the Daleks”.  This is the first five-inch scale version of the Clara character., and we theorize this set was originally meant to be the 2014 SDCC exclusive.

* Our new counter display includes Character Builders “Brix”… DOCTOR WHO mini-figures in clear display cases.  Like the bagged versions, these are also “blind packs”… you don’t know which character you’re getting, and there are an assortment to collect.

* We have new 11-ounce mugs for hot and cold drinks, featuring the TARDIS.  These are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, perfect for your home, office or dorm.

* And finally we have the most recent “Special Edition” of DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE.  Special Edition #38 is the wrap-up of DWM’s coverage of the 50th Anniversary Year of DOCTOR WHO.

Come down to 65 James Street in Worcester – we’ve got the DOCTOR WHO merchandise to amaze and astound you.
