Annie's Book Stop of Worcester

The little bookstore that's bigger on the inside

Layout 1Happy December! It’s really, for-sure. bona fide holiday season! Enjoy your Clementines and peppermint sticks, and get ready for shiny paper, candles, and evergreens!

We hope all our friends and patrons had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. We sure did at ABSW! Our “All Your Fears in One Basket” event with the New England Horror Writers packed the store and introduced a lot of folks to the wonderful joys of dark fiction. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the store and our local authors!

With December also bringing in the promise / threat of that evil white stuff people call snow, we are carefully planning our events for this month and for January… but the ones we are having are pretty epic!

Information specialist Jason Wood makes tidy living recognizing patterns where others see only chaos. But all he wants to do at the moment is kick back with his new wife and celebrate their first Christmas in their new home. But when the police come asking for his help with an unusual murder—one that involves lycanthropy, no less—Jason finds himself on the job and tossed out into a night that is anything but silent.
