On a quick side note… tomorrow, November 19th, we will have a table at Eddy Pond’s holiday bazaar event. [The store will also be open its regular hours.] Come visit us at 669 Washington Street in Auburn between 1pm and 4pm.
As our customers observe their varied winter holiday celebrations, we at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester, located at 65 James Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, continue to get new titles in stock and to offer suggestions for gift-giving.
With several nights of Hanukkah left to be counted down, we still have some lovely Hanukkah titles in stock, including HANUKKAH BEAR by Eric Kimmel.
Some of the newest children’s book titles to have arrived on our shelves which would make marvelous gifts include: THE GIVING TREE, WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS, and A LIGHT IN THE ATTIC by Shel Silverstein; TIPTOP CAT by Roger Mader; and MIKE MULLIGAN AND MORE: FOUR CLASSIC STORIES by Virginia Lee Burton.
For our adult readers, our new book display features HUMANS OF NEW YORK – THE BOOK by Brandon Stanton and THE STORIED LIFE OF A.J. FIKRY by Gabrielle Zevin. The notion that we all have stories to tell flows through both titles, and both make fascinating reading on a winter’s night.
For those looking for a last-minute housewarming gift to present to friends, family members, and coworkers for Christmas, one of our local crafters, Katie Giroux, has brought us more holiday towels and hand-painted ornaments. These make wonderful keepsakes that you will treasure for years and will be pleased to include in your decorating traditions.
And last, but not least for your gift-giving needs, we offer gift certificates in any amount. That’s one gift that won’t worry you about fitting or breaking.
Thank you, as always for your patronage and support during this holiday season. We endeavor continually to be “worth the trip”.
