Welcome back to the school year!
While we don’t carry college text books, we do carry a selection of literature for English classes or reading requirements for all grade levels. We also can make special orders, so feel free to visit our little “bigger on the inside” bookstore on 65 James Street to see if we’ve got what you need.
We had a great time running the Book Nook at Pet Rock Fest with our friend Liz Mugavero, author of the Pawsitively Organic cozy pet mystery series at Becker College in Leicester this past Sunday! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us!
Next up, THIS WEEK, September 17, Thursday from 7:00 – 8:00 PM, we’re beginning a NEW REGULAR EVENT: Doctor Who Talks. As most of our regular customers and friends know, a lot of us here at ABSW are serious Whovians. If you’ve missed that fact, look at all the awesome toys on the top of our bookshelves and our extensive Doctor Who Magazine collection. This month, in celebration of the newest The Essential Doctor Who, which came out this summer—and based on top requests—our topic is MONSTERS!
And then, on September 25, Friday from 7:00 – 8:30 PM we have our regular Worcester Storytellers open mic and featured reader event.
Finishing out the month, we’re happy to welcome back The Free People’s Artists Workshop returns on September 28 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM for an evening of networking and feedback. Artists and creators of all types are welcome.
