Annie's Book Stop of Worcester

The little bookstore that's bigger on the inside

09282015 - Moon PicDid you see the gorgeous eclipse last night?

A lot of us were up moon-gazing and enjoyed the show. If you’re not an outdoors kind of person, we also support staying inside and curling up with a good book, of course. And if you need a book, well, we are just over at 65 James Street, and “bigger on the inside” doesn’t just reference our love for Doctor Who.

(And… Oh my giddy aunt! – THE NEW SEASON!!) Ahem, if your inner Whovian is sparked, we also cater to that, too. Check out our awesome selection of all things Doctor Who from books, to audios, to toys, to magazines, and more!

Coming up TONIGHT, we’re happy to welcome back The Free People’s Artists Workshop returns on Monday, September 28 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM for an evening of networking and feedback. Artists and creators of all types are welcome.

And also THIS SATURDAY, October 3 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, we welcome author Michael J. Cooper with his historical adventure The Rabbi’s Knight.

At the twilight of the Crusades in the year 1290, a war-weary knight apprentices himself to an eminent rabbi to learn how the inmost secrets of the Kabbalah might unlock the secrets of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. But time is running out…

Using research on history and Hebrew culture, Cooper spins a fresh take on the Crusades in this adventure novel. He will talk about his study for this book, and its sequel, Foxes in the Vineyard as well as sign books in this evening event that is sure to intrigue lovers of history, adventure, and ancient secrets.
