Happy Yule and Merry Christmas to all our friends who celebrate! We’ve had a lot of great events these past few weeks, so thank you to everyone who came our 65 James Street bookstore that’s “bigger on the inside” for Cecilia Tan’s What’s Hot in Erotic Fiction?, John Silva’s History of the American Tavern, the return of Michael Cooper with his book Foxes in the Vineyard, and this past weekend’s Holiday Caroling with Sam & Fran & Friends. It was lovely spending time with our guests and attendees!

If you’re still holiday shopping, peruse and keep an eye on our blog as we’re posting unique gift ideas regularly with our Holiday Blogging Marathon. And for your shopping convenience, here is a reminder of our hours this week.

And starting now, all our Advent Calendars are 50% off! It’s never too late to start celebrating.

This Monday, December 21, starting at 7:00 PM, we’ll be having the last Spinning Yarns of 2015.

And next Monday, December 28, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, we have our last Free People’s Artists Workshop of 2015.

We’re currently working on our January and February 2016 schedule, so here’s a sneak peek for January!

Saturday, January 16, 6:00-8:00 PM – Rainbow Readers of Massachusetts, LGBTQA book club meets. This month’s book is How to be a Normal Person by TJ Klune, which you can get through ABSW.

Thursday, January 21, 7:00-8:00 PM – Doctor Who Talk: Planets.

Saturday, January 23, 2:00-4:00 PM – Author Sharon Legasey presents The House of Wonder.

Saturday, January 30, 2:00-4:00 PM – Cozy Cat Mysteries with Liz Mugavero

And don’t forget our regular events!

Spinning Yarns Craft and Audiobook Social, every Monday 7:00 PM (except for when the Free People’s Artists Workshop meets the last Monday of the month). Bring a craft and enjoy an audiobook or audio drama with other crafty booklovers!

Worcester Storytellers, the fourth Friday of every month from 7-8:30 PM. For the complete updates and schedules, follow Worcester Storytellers on Facebook! UPDATE: We will not have Worcester Storytellers for December, but they will return on January 22.

The Free People’s Artists Workshop, the last Monday of each month from 7:00-9:00 PM. Networking and feedback from other artists and creators of all types. Co-sponsored by the Worcester County Poetry Association.

Doctor Who Talks, the third Thursday of every month from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. Join us for a discussion of our favorite science fiction serial. Every month will have a different topic! UPDATE: We will not have a Doctor Who Talk for December, but this event will return on January 18.

UPDATED: The Rainbow Readers of Massachusetts is an LGBTQA Book club that will meet once a month on Saturdays from 6:00-8:00 PM. Regular meetings start back up on January 16.
