Happy 2016! We hope everyone celebrated the New Year exactly as they wanted while staying safe, and we look forward to sharing another year of wonderful words with all of you.
Winter has finally decided to arrive, so make sure you stock up on reading material to curl up with under your favorite blanket, near your favorite heat source, to carry you through the cold. Your little “bigger on the inside” bookstore at 65 James Street has new titles coming in daily. Keep an eye on our “New Arrivals” bookshelf at the front of the store, and browse your favorite sections to see what we’ve shelved each day.

In more excellent news, the novelization of The Force Awakens is here and ready to be released on its street date of January 5—TOMORROW! The movie has broken records in sales, rekindled the Light in the hearts of most Star Wars fans, and awoken a new generation of Star Wars fans. The book includes extra scenes that didn’t make it to the film, including more scenes with General Leia Organa, deeper background on Kylo Ren, conversations between the New Republic and the Resistance, and further information on the Starkiller Base. Written by New York Times bestselling author Alan Dean Foster, the book is a critical piece of the Star Wars universe that no fan should be without!

Saturday, January 16, 6:00-8:00 PM – Rainbow Readers of Massachusetts, LGBTQA book club meets. This month’s book is How to be a Normal Person by TJ Klune, which you can get through ABSW. Want to know more? Here’s the book blurb:
