Happy May! We hope everyone had a lovely May Day weekend.

We had a lovely Independent Bookstore / Vintage Book Event this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped in to support us and peruse our vintage collection.  Many of the books will be moved to our website so keep an eye there. We will keep a selection of vintage titles in the store for our customers to peruse, and you can always ask Patty or a staff member for more information.

We’re also still supporting the Worcester – The City That Reads book drive. Donate your new or gently used books appropriate for students from kindergarten to eighth grade. If you buy a book just for donation, we will take an additional 10% off.  The book drive ends on May 15.

Congratulations to our two winners Sister’s gift certificates this weekend: Joyce S. and Larry F. We will be contacting you this week! We were happy to support our community friends’ reopening.

Don’t forget, THIS FRIDAY, May 6, we have our Rainbow Readers Youth LGBTQA Book Club discussion.  This month’s book is George by Alex Gino, and we still have copies in the store! Rainbow Reader’s Youth happens from 7:00 – 8:00 PM the first Saturday of every month.

Finally, Mother’s Day is THIS SUNDAY, May 8! Does your mom love to read? Find her a lovely book or even get her a gift certificate to show your love! We also have beautiful and unique cards, as well as multiple other handmade gifts from local artisans—like towels, jewelry, drinking glasses, and more.
