Beneath the Streets of Boston by Joe McKendry is a gorgeous book that offers “a concise yet detailed history of this country’s oldest underground system.” It includes a collection of magnificent watercolor illustrations drawn from an combination of old photographs, architectural drawings, and newspaper clippings.  The book “has created a coherent and convincing picture of 23 years of construction that significantly improved life above ground for the residents of one of America’s most beautiful cities.

The Fever Code by James Dashner is the second prequel to the best-selling Maze Runner series. Dashner said that he always wanted to write about how the rest of the Gladers got to the maze and what they did before Thomas entered the box, therefore the book is set in a time before The Maze Runner and after The Kill Order, and it is told through multiple points of view of characters readers know.
