Only one more week till Halloween! Are you dressing up as your favorite Time Lord? We do have sonic screwdrivers for multiple incarnations of Doctor Who to complete your costume! Come and see what we’ve got!
We want to send extra thanks to the die-hard Dark Shadows fans who braved the floods to come out to our Dark Shadows-themed Halloween party this weekend! Much of Worcester was closed down, including main highways, so we had a cozy party with Penny Dreadful XIII, as well as actors Sharon Smyth and Kathryn Leigh Scott who joined us on Facebook Messenger to visit with us. We are planning a potential “rain date” to throw another Dark Shadows party in April of next year, as we celebrate “April is the Cruelest Month.”
We also were happy to welcome several folks last Thursday for our Doctor Who Discussion night as we ranked the Top Ten scariest Doctor Who episodes. Next month, we’ll be talking about historical characters – and take a peek at what’s in store for our annual Doctor Who Celebration on Saturday, November 19th!
Now, let’s take a look at what’s coming up THIS WEEK and for Halloween!
THIS FRIDAY, October 28, from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, join the Worcester Storytellers for their open mic and featured reader, Rob Smales! And look at our Friday Spotlight blog to get to know him even better.
Then, for the WHOLE WEEKEND, join us for HALLOWEEN WEEKEND FUN! From Saturday to Sunday, October 29-30, join us for ghostly and monstrous festivities from 11AM to 2PM each day. The store will host drop-in crafts and spooky stories, and grab-bags for anyone in costume while supplies last.
