We hope all of our U.S. friends had a most wonderful and delicious Thanksgiving! We were very thankful here at our 65 James Street “bigger on the inside” bookstore for all of you, and extra thanks to those of you who came out to our three events during the holiday weekend!
Friday, we had a great Worcester Storytellers featuring Nicole Waybright, who read from her narrative non-fiction Long Way Out. On Small Business Saturday, we had a fabulous showing of authors from the Worcester Writers Collaborative giving readings throughout the day. And on Sunday, our friend Bracken MacLeod was here celebrating the release of his novel, Stranded, and tempting us with readings from forthcoming work. All of the events had excellent attendence, and all of us had a lot of fun this whole weekend. We do have a very few signed copies of Stranded still in the store—so if you missed the signing, stop in and grab one before they’re gone!
