2018 - Happy-New-Year

HAPPY 2018!!  May everyone be safe in their celebrations, and may the new year bring much goodness and prosperity!

We are open TODAY for our regular hours of 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM, so if you want to start your year off with a good read, we can help you with that right here at our 65 James Street location.

We are kicking off the year with a killer event THIS SATURDAY, January 6, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM! Join us for Maureen Boyle, Shallow Graves, and the New Bedford Serial Killer.

Eleven women went missing over the spring and summer of 1988 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The skeletal remains of nine of the women, aged nineteen to thirty-six, were discovered near highways around New Bedford. Award-winning journalist Maureen Boyle first broke the story in 1988 and stayed with it for decades. In Shallow Graves she spins a riveting narrative about the crimes, the victims, the hunt for the killers, and the search for justice, all played out against the backdrop of an increasingly impoverished community beset by drugs and crime.

Enjoy classic cartoons and comics? Come learn about the culture around many of your favorite strips and characters from the son of one of the artists!
