05142018 - Spring Towels

We hope everyone who celebrates Mother’s Day had a wonderful time this past weekend, full of love, fun, and safe travels!

Are you planning your summer vacation already? Besides helping you find the perfect beach and vacation reads, ABSW also has some new spring and summer dish towels you can hang in your beach house or vacation location. Made by local crafters Katie Giroux and Melissa Hudson, they are a bright and cheery addition to any room! Come and take a look!

We had a great weekend here at our 65 James Street Store. On Friday, Jim Zebrowski came out for our Astronomy Night, and we watched cool 0-gravity videos, learned about planets, handled some asteroids and space rocks, and even looked at Venus and Jupiter (along with 4 of Jupiter’s moons) through a telescope! And then on Saturday, the Worcester County Amateur Radio Club set up a partial HAM radio shack at our store, and we talked about communicating around the world—and even reached out to other HAM users to chat!  It was so much fun, we’ll be hosting these events again in the fall!

If you have enjoyed our events or the time you’ve spent in our little store, consider leaving us a review on TripAdvisor or leaving us a review on Yelp. You can also review us on Facebook!
