Our deliveries this week and last have brought us some wonderful releases in the fields of science fiction, swords-and-sorcery, and urban fantasy.
First we have Tamsyn Muir’s debut novel GIDEON THE NINTH, which is the first of a proposed trilogy blending science fiction, fantasy, gothic chiller, and classic house-party mystery.
Next comes LIBRIOMANCER by Jim C. Hines, Book One of the Magic ex Libris series, a reissued favourite dealing with a theme that has always struck a chord with us.
Third is A TRICK OF LIGHT by Stan Lee, the first book of ALLIANCES, co-written with Kat Rosenberg, about the emergence of superpowers in three ordinary teenagers.
Last but not least is Ilona Andrews’ newest, SAPPHIRE FLAMES, which begins a new trilogy in her “Hidden Legacy” sequence. where magic means power and family bloodlines are the true currency.
As always, we thank you for making our shelves your destination.
