Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day on the calendar that means a lot more than just another vacation from school and work. Here at the little bookstore that’s bigger on the inside, we support the freedoms that MLK fought to have recognized universally, and we acknowledge the struggles that still continue to this day.
Our thanks go to local author Jean M. Grant for coming out to share her book talk about her contemporary fiction title WILL RISE FROM ASHES and her historical paranormal titles A HUNDRED KISSES and A HUNDRED BREATHS. Although the event was lightly attended because of the imminent snowfall, we very much enjoyed hearing Jean speak about the writing process and the research that goes into her books.
We have autographed copies of all three titles here for sale, to purchase in-store or via mail order. Remember, for any of our events, you can call us to pay for and put aside any of our author guests’ books to be autographed if you cannot make it on the day of the book signing.
