This year, the way February is exiting [almost 60 degrees Fahrenheit today], we may well have March gamboling in like a lamb and blustering out like a lion.

RECURRING EVENT: TONIGHT! Monday, February 24, 7PM-9PM – The Free People’s Artists Workshop! This critique group meets on the fourth Monday of each month. Networking and feedback from other artists and creators of all types. Co-sponsored by the Worcester County Poetry Association.

SPECIAL EVENT: Sunday, March 1, 11AM–2PM – Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! Help us celebrate the birthday of Theodor Geisel (A.K.A. Dr. Seuss). We’ll have drop-in crafts, Dr. Seuss stories and activities from 11 am to 2pm! Coloring pages for children of all ages and parents will also be available. Please RSVP by calling us at 508-796-5613 to be sure we have enough supplies for everyone. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

SPECIAL EVENT: Saturday, March 7 at 2PM – Water Connections: A Book Talk with James Rousmaniere! Water Connections: What Fresh Water Means to Us, What We Mean to Water is a non-fiction book about our changing ways around fresh water. James will be at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester on Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 PM to sign and read from his book, and answer any questions people may have on this extremely important subject.
SPECIAL EVENT: Sunday, March 8 at 2PM – Book Signing with Sharon Legasey! Join us for a reading and signing of THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL CREATIVE PET SHOW, an illustrated storybook by local author Sharon Legasey. Bring a picture of *your* pet and settle in for a smile-making afternoon.
SPECIAL EVENT: Saturday, March 14 at 2PM – Poetry Reading With Christopher Reilley! Join us for an afternoon of poetry with WCPA member Christopher Reilley, whose collection ONE NIGHT STANZAS has garnered incredible reviews.
SPECIAL EVENT: Saturday, March 21 at 6PM – Rainbow Readers Discusses QUEEN OF IEFLARIA by Effie Calvin. The Rainbow Readers of Massachusetts is an LGBTQIA book club that meets once a month. All are welcome!
SPECIAL EVENT: Sunday, March 22 at 2PM – Telling Magical Stories: Middle Grade Authors Panel Talk! We are pleased to welcome MarcyKate Connolly, Rajani LaRocca, and Anna Staniszewski for an enthralling afternoon of whimsical and mystical tales. These three middle grade novelists will host a panel discussion on titles that deal in the magic that lies just out of sight, sometimes even in our own backyards.
