While Small Business Saturday touts the benefits and joys of “shop small, shop local” one day a year, here at our little bookstore that’s bigger on the inside we believe in supporting independent crafters all year ’round!
Winter is coming, and there is yet again a new variant of COVID-19 circulating. While that may be cause for anxiety and frustration for many of us, it also brings opportunities to make a fashion statement as well as a social commitment.
Once again, we are proud to present handmade face masks from ABSW / Tower Books staffer Dot Woodcock, whose cottage industry i Bonnie Kay Designs, in lovely colors and patterns. We have sold so many of these that Dot is hard at work sewing more to widen our selection, including seasonal patterns for the holidays!
These face masks make a wonderful and useful stocking stuffer for you and for the people you love, as we enter into colder weather, with more chances of picking up a stray respiratory “bug” from crowded spaces.
