Carole Boston Weatherford is a poet, and writes non-fiction and some fiction books for children and Young Adults. Most of her books are about some event or person in history, many of the people African-Americans. Her latest book, UNSPEAKABLE: THE TULSA RACE MASSACRE is about the massacre of hundreds of African-Americans in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921.
