For those of you needing to find gifts for young children, Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester is pleased to showcase our Early Reader books, created in up to 5 reading levels.
We do have some Winter and Holiday early readers. An example of a “My First” level reader, which has basic language, word repetition and whimsical illustration, ideal for sharing with your emergent reader is Ty’s Travels, Winter Wonderland, one of several Ty’s Travel books. This time, Ty travels to the North Pole!
There are many Level 1 readers, which are books with short sentences, familiar words, and simple concepts for children eager to read on their own. One Holiday early reader is Pinkalicious and the Holiday Sweater. If you like this book, many, many Pinkalicious books have been written.
Level 2 readers have many choices of books which are considered engaging stories for developing readers. The Holiday books we have are about Henry and Mudge, a boy and his huge dog. Henry and Mudge and the Snowman Plan and Henry and Mudge in the Sparkle Days should both be exciting reading for children, especially this time of year. More Henry and Mudge books are also available.
