One gift that many people love is the gift of something to do with their time, especially if they are in a situation where they might have a lot of free time. Crossword puzzles are a great way to spend time and also keep someone’s mind sharp.
This little shop that is bigger on the inside has a nice selection of crossword puzzles this year. For those people who are out and about, a pocket crossword book or mini crossword book would be a good choice. They might also like a small book of crosswords with a theme, such as Tons of Puns Crosswords, or a crossword book that has easy to hard puzzles, such as Holidays at Home Crosswords.
Many crossword books have puzzles on one level, though, such as the New York Times Awesome Easy Crosswords, Awesome Medium Crosswords and Hardest Crossword Books. That way, if you know someone’s level you can pick out the right book.
If someone you know likes a challenge, the next two crossword books would be right up their alley. The book, Competitive Crosswords contains crosswords from the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, and Smart Sunday Crosswords are difficult puzzles from the Sunday New York Times.
Lastly, one book that is very useful for anyone doing crossword puzzles at any level is Merriam-Webster’s Crossword Puzzle Dictionary. Puzzlers will love it!
