Greetings from Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester!
January so far has been pretty warm compared to many other years, but in preparation for colder weather this little bookstore that’s bigger on the inside has some Winter picture books by Jan Brett set out front to keep the children cozy.
Speaking of children’s books, we are looking forward to the announcement of the Caldecott and Newbery Awards 2023, which will be announced shortly. Come on in and check out our picks for the winners.
You may notice that some of our shelves seem a little bare right now. That’s because we will be doing inventory during the next few weeks in order to make room for new and upcoming releases. Check out our Thursday New Arrivals blog for details on the upcoming titles for January.
Colleges are set to reopen Tuesday, January 17th, so it’s time for us to remind students that we offer a student discount of an additional 10% on new books and used books in-store to those currently enrolled in college or university for undergraduate and graduate studies; please show us an active student ID.
We also expect to have more than a few markdowns. Check our shelves for great deals. And don’t forget that if you can’t find what you are looking for, we offer a special-order service. We also have a mail order service. If you can’t get to the store, or if you need a book mailed to someone, we will do that for you.
