Annie's Book Stop of Worcester

The little bookstore that's bigger on the inside

shopsmallHappy Thanksgiving! We hope all of you will be having a lovely holiday this week, and that your travels or your loved ones’ travels are safe.

While many people are looking forward to Black Friday sales in the larger chain stores for the holidays, ABSW at 65 James Street, along with the New England Horror Writers, is participating in Small Business Saturday on November 29, from 11AM-9PM with our All Your Fears in One Basket event.

Small Business Saturday, sponsored by American Express, gives people the chance to support their communities and rewards them by giving them an additional cashback bonus on purchases made that day. Our “All Your Fears in One Basket” event doubly returns your money to the community. Not only are shoppers supporting the local bookstore, but they are also supporting local authors and artists. Signed and personalized books make wonderful holiday gifts, and the all-day readings will give you a taste of each author’s flavor to make sure you find just the right fright for your gift. Find out more on our events page, which links to the full list of participating authors.
