Apparently, the groundhog’s prediction of an early spring irritated Mother Nature and Old Man Winter. We hope you’re all staying warm! We do have coffee and books (obviously), if you want to stop by 65 James Street. And, if you’re housebound or snowbound and running low on reading material, don’t forget we also do mail-order. You can call the store and order the books you need. Then either pick them up when the weather’s more cooperative—or, we can even mail them to you.
(Unfortunately, our book superpowers don’t extend to your mail-person’s delivery ability—but we can do the sending part!)
Also, with weather on the mind, as always, keep an eye on our website and Facebook page (even linked here and at the bottom of the email for your convenience) to check for any changes in our hours or events due to inclement weather.
A great big “Thank you” to Christopher Golden and James A. Moore and the massive amount of folks who came out for the Writers Coffeehouse New England event we held this past Saturday! We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and chatting, and it was a great discussion to help writers of all levels. We were very proud and honored to be able to host you all.
What other wonderful things are happening in February?
Well, THIS WEEK, TOMORROW, February 9, 7:00-8:00 PM, we are still hosting our Adult Coloring Night and there is still time to register and join us! More and more adults are discovering the stress-relief and health benefits of coloring. Come and find your inner child! There is a $20 materials fee. Contact the store in person, by calling 508-796-5613, or email us at info@anniesbooksworcester.com.
